Question Intel Inside have all brainwashed us

What can I say even I believe that if it ain't Intel it aint good. HEHEHE
    AMD marketing stratagies still lacking
True they are winning with faster processor
but most of us folk are still going to buy
    from Intel
AMD can come up with AMD Inside but then again they will get sued and the winner is
    Intel again. LOLOL
I see that marketing stratagies alway win,
look at microsoft for example they suck right but in the end they crushed everyone to pieces and they are the ruler of the universe. Hail Bill Gate!
You have no ideas that the AMD consumer are far smaller then Intel about 1/4 most of which are folks who can't afford to spend a little more and had to look for alternative.
I for example are switching side once again
over to Intel, pay a little more and get quality.
Getting fed up with overclocking limitation
of AMD athlon, duron etc and going with Celeron II instead in my future upgrade.
Did you know that Intel and Microsoft have alot in common? Well it just goes to show you that in the end Intel will be the only cpu maker therefore putting anyone else out of business. Well that is even the department
    of justice can't stop them.
Couldn't stop bill gate could they eh, there ain't no one to compete with anyway as we are all glued to windows operating system

Not at all, this is about marketing stratagies and had nothing to do with overclocking etc.
    Good Day

i've read that post 3 times now and my head hurts ... i have no idea what it's actually about. it looks like it contains the makings of another amd vs. intel thread and we all know we've been down that road many times on this forum. i have to agree with brydon ... wrong forum.

    p.s.
intel hasn't brainwashed me as far as i know. sure they have great marketing ... most larger corporations do. but only 'sheep' buy the hype ... i haven't owned an intel processor in years.

you know, the duron can overclock very well, and performs faster than a celeron II.... I don't think you'll need that CII if your just gonna put paste on pad..

I'm sorry win_98 but your post is completely scatterbrained. I've no idea what you're talking about, and the few things I do understand you are wrong about. Athlon doesn't overclock well???? WTF are you talking about?

And what's up with the structure of your post. Have you heard of these things: Paragraphs? Try'em sometime. It'll help others understand your ideas.

Hmm no Intel here. My 486 even has an AMD proccessor in it, I gave the Intel one away .

And we are not all glued to a MS OS. I do use one most of the time though.

I think Intel changed the Computer Marketing scene big time. For example, back when I was running a 486sx25 and people asked me what kind of computer I had I would say "A Leading Edge, IBM PS2 etc". Most people used the manufacturer's name, not the processor. After Intel ran their "Intel Inside" campaigns, you ask someone the same question and they'll answer "P whatever or K62 etc" Weird eh? No one says "I have a Dell Pentium 166".

Whaaat????........from what I can make out, it sounds to me that you acknowledge AMD makes the faster chip, but you're going to go back to Intel because they've got better marketing???? Athlon's don't overclock well??
Duron's don't overclock well??? I'm shakin' my head here.

according to the hardware guide, Durons can easily hit 850MHz...similar to a CII, but... with a FSB of 100MHz.. hmm... if i can only find that link, then i'll be backed up.
