Opinions
I just wanted an unbiased opinion on this car. Most people haven't ever seen or heard of it. The Marque badge is visible, but try not to look at it so you can think of it with as little preconcieved notions as possible:
Yes? Look good?
No... too overdone.
Bleh whatever.

Thats one hot hatch! Great colour and kit. Right hand drive as well. Whats the specs?
Put decent ICE in it (loads of bass) and cruise.

Okay well first of all its not a hatch, its a sedan...
I wanted to get a few more first impressions before I spilled some data on it...

....I would drive it yes...but it would not be something I would spend my own money on. It is different though Maybe thats just cause I am American. Looks very aggressive though which I like.

I've liked these ever since Gran Turismo
Along with the Skyline, they are becoming very popular imports in the UK now. The Subaru Impreza (with similar venting on the hood) is also very popular here.
Personally, I have a soft spot for FTOs and GT3000s *drool*
I say go for it.

Well anyways its prolly the best bang for the Buck you will ever find, period. And also my ultimate dream car. $30,000 US dollars.
Its a Mitusbishi Lancer Evolution VI. Though we don't get them in the United States, Japan, Austrialia, and Europe do. The US receives the Mitsubishi Mirage
They do 0-60 and the quarter mile as fast as a Chevrolet Corvette. And its a 2 Liter Inline 4. That's a smaller engine than a Honda Prelude. Plus its a 4 door sedan, no less.
0-60: 4.6 seconds
1/4 mile: 12.8 seconds

But just wait until a rock or other debris hits that oil cooler..

My brother loves those things.. I like 'em too.

Thats right bhess, mmm, Nissan Skyline with all-time 4 wheel drive and 4-wheel steering... Man I want one. Those things are so fast, in fact they set the record time on the Nurburging racetrack in Deutscheland for stock cars.

what I wouldn't do to get me one of these!!
That is one of my favorite cars!!!
Very nice car, donate it to me!!!!LOL

I'd take one for sure...but it's just to boy racer for me. Esspessially that near-useless oversized wing on the trunk deck. That's just gaudy. Also, IMHO, only subaru can pull off those fog lights.
Now with that said...if I was sitting in one, you can be sure there'd be nothing other than a smile on my face.

Hahahaha its an intercooler. And its exposed for a reason, the turbine runs at such high pressure (not sure exactly but I'm thinking upwards of 18-20 psi) it needs really cool air goin through it. Colder air is denser, more air into the combustion chamber more combustion, more combustion, more power.

Actually its the same spoiler they use in rally races. I'm almost absolutely sure its all but useless. The beautiful thing about the Lancer Evolution is that it was designed for rally racing before they came out with a street legal version. In order to compete in rally races, the regulations said the racecar had to be modeled after a street legal version, so Mitsubishi made a one just so it could race the Evolution. Sort of taking a backwards approach of doing it. Which is why the street legal version kicks so much ***.
Everything on the car just reeks of purist racing. Recaro-made racing seats. Momo Steering wheel. 13+" rotors and 4 piston calipers up front. A bigass turbo, they even moved the license plate from the Evolution V to the side so the intercooler could breathe easier! hahaha. The scoops in the hood are functional... The six speed is short ratio'd so it tops out at 120+ mph or so... (but the acceleration is nothing short of blisteringly insane)
