User levels-GO AWAY
Do we really need the user levels? It has gotten to a point where many people seem to be abusing them, resulting in many pointless posts, because people want a little label beside their name. Personally, I DON'T CARE WHAT LEVEL ANYONE IS! I look at the information they have given me or the question they have asked, and respond accordingly. People: this is a freaking Internet forum where we come to discuss topics of interest, to get help, or even user opinions. We really do not need a class system on a message board do we? If someone is full of useful information, people will learn to associate their name with that, and may pay more attention to them accordingly.
In theory the classification isn't a bad idea, but with people posting so many useless topics and replies for the sake of having a certain word written under your name, which has no meaning anymore, it just won't work and something needs to be done. I have seen many people get upset at people for so spamming the board, and I have seen many posts which have absolutely no use being posted.
This system of showing a persons wisdom, knowledge, or experience is seriously flawed. Anyone can come fill up a board with useless ramblings and gain high ratings (if you would call it ratings).
If anyone has a good reason for keeping these "tags", give some feedback. If not, I think Sysopt should seriously consider doing away with this class system for the sake of keeping its, umm, greatness. I think it would be better for everyone in the long run. Or at least find some other system to show someone has knowledge of what they are talking about, rather than the number of posts they spit out.
Until a better system is made, or if we do keep this same system, some of the users need to realize the pointlessness of having a different tag next to your user name. Please stop wasting your time, stop bothering others, and stop bringing down what easily can be the best message board on the net. Thank you.

You have said alot more then I did.
I don't know why this kind of post is allowed
while other shouldn't when this only leads
to conflict.
We just need to get along better, and learn to ignore those that bothers you most.
If you say this is one of the best forum I have to disagree. You over rating it.
On a scale from 1 to 10 I give it a 5
BTW: This kind of post should belong in off-topic as I don't see how this is so productive.

Similarly Yaroa, if you don't like hearing it, don't read it, and more importantly don't respond. rtyp3 can state his opinions if he wants, as we all can, but don't tell other members to go away.

Naw, there is no way I'm leaving. I was just sharing my 2 cents about how to make what, in my opinion, is the best forum on the net, even better.
