re: SoCalGal Retires From Sysopt
So explain why that thread was closed... I'm just kind of curious.
btw email isn't working, some dumbf*cks at work opened up email attachment they knew were virus' and boom work's down the next day... And our Tech support aren't wiz's by any means either.

I don't know why the thread was closed, but I do know this:
It has to be closed for a reason, and therefor this one will probably be closed soon too!!!!
And it also doesn't put one in a good perspective to re-post on the exact same subject, if ya ask me!!!
I know ya ain't asking me, but it is just my opinion!!!!

Well sure, the more opinions the better, I was asking anyone.
I was under the impression that threads were locked for a specific reason, those being along the lines of: someone was out of line, like cussing and posting porn, or spamming...
There wasn't anything close to that in the last post. Granted it was opened for a reason, but when a moderator feels like he/she is done with a thread, I don’t think they should close it! Geez, its like evolution, when ppl are through talking about a thread, it'll drop to the bottom, then the 2nd page, then no one will ever look at it again. But when one person decides that there is nothing left to say then makes it so that no one else can say anything about it either, who is to say that the person who closed it was 100% sure that everyone else on the entire board was finished talking about it?
And hey... I could be wrong. You very well may disagree with me. But please don’t flame in my face, "read this: blah blah", or "you should know the way we do things around here." I’m telling you what I think without flaming, cussing, or spamming, and this is a non-tech discussion board.

It should be quite clear, rumors are rarely harmless and socalgal handled it with her usual class. I personaly dont care for words that require**** it is a bit immature.
-
I closed it because it's falsely titled as it applies to me, as there's no truth to it.
End of my statement/s on this matter.
Edit: I should add that soon there will a more complete forum FAQ to help detail the policies and standards of these forums.
Hopefully this will clear up some questions and aid everyone to understand more clearly how these forums operate.

F=ma: you sure seem to like to stir things up. This isn't the "Controversy Discussion Forum". Socalgal is NOT retiring from SysOpt and Mntsnow is NOT replacing her.
