    Chuck,

As you have already probably figured out, it's difficult to translate English, literally, into Latin. Here are a few phrases in the general area you're looking for, I think.

Leve fit, quod bene fertur, onus

A burden which is done well becomes light

    Materiam superabat opus

The workmanship surpassed the subject matter

Omnia iam fient fieri quae posse negabam

Everything which I said could not happen will happen now

    Fallaces sunt rerum species

The appearances of things are deceptive

Non est ad astra mollis e terris via

There is no easy way from the earth to the stars

    Ab uno disce omnes

    Learn all from one thing

All this, and more (including my signature), I learned here.

    JP

    Thumbs up

    Bravo, JohnPaul.

I certainly found the Latin phrases difficult to translate properly and was still searching for something comparable and valid to add.

    Looks JohnPaul nailed it!

    Lightbulb Anyone Know Latin?

We would like to adopt the motto "How hard can it be?" for our lab at work.

Does anyone know how to say that in Latin?
