Ok...first off, I would highly discourage anyone from buying a Compaq computer. I have had 3, all in hopes of that they would get better in time...and sadly enough, they haven't. My problem...I was given a "sheltered" version of Win98 on a Compaq QuickRestore CD...which is basically a stripped down "user-friendly" version of Win. My main problem, is that the Uninstall feature for IE has been removed, and I do not know how to fix that. It will not let me update IE either, because the uninstall option has been removed. So I am stuck with IE 4.5...any help would be appreciated...and if you happen to be a Compaq representative walk by, give him a swift kick in the *** for me.
