PNY PC100 128meg 8ns
Here as an idea for you as well as a deal of sorts.
I spent today runing around town looking at various computer stores for memory. The idea that they may have a price lag and I could still get it cheap.
Let me tell you PC100 is very hard to find. Several salesmen told me that guys were coming in and buying 10 sticks at a time. I assume these are resellers who were trying the same trick I was. I did finally find one stick at Office depot, PNY PC100 128meg. This one stick had been returned in an open box and was sitting in the back. I payed $179 plus tax.
I then went to best buy to see if they could beat my $179 price. To my delight they had plenty of the same PNY sticks on sale for $289, (the price had gone up 2 days ago). I immedialtly asked for a competitor price match and I they promply sold me another stick for $169 (price match minus 10%). I was then going to return the $179 memory to office depot when I realized that 179 is not a bad price. I have 14 days to return the memory but thought someone here might want to buy it from me. I am willing to sell it for exactly what I paid for it (191.60) plus shipping and will send you the receipt if you want. If anyone is interested e-mail me quickly as I only have 14 days for a return, and I would request that your check clears before I send it to you. I will say that I have not checked the memory and have no idea why it was returned.
adding this note since I realized everyone may not know to hit the question mark button.

As I do not know if the lifetime warranty that PNY gives out is good in Canada (I can find nothing on this warranty to indicate that it is good there) I cannot in good conscience sell it to you. I have not tested it and although these things rarely fail to function there is a chance it does not work as it was returned to the store for an unknown reason before I bought it. For anyone in the states the lifetime warranty provided by the manufacturer might make it worth taking the small risk that it is bad, I just don't think I should send it out of the states on the chance that PNY would not honor the warranty. If you are STILL interested I want to sell it for what I paid for it $191 US dollars with the purchaser picking up the shipping.
