I have just transfered my Mobo ,Processor,RAM ,AGP Graphics Card and Modem from a full tower case to a midi case(to upgrade the Tower case)
I have fitted a new 30G Maxtor hard drive and new Floppy on the new Midi case.
The Computer will not boot tho' the hard drive and cd rom all light up.
do i need to Clear the CMOS so that the Mobo can recognise the New Hard drive, floppy and CD rom?
Please help

This needs to go to technical support.
Did you check all of your connections? Did you check to make sure your RAM, cpu, and video card are all seated properly. Try booting with just the hard drive, floppy, cpu, ram and video card and if it boots, then add one extra component at a time.

Check the ribon of the hard drive and CD Rom. Make sure the pin 1 is match with the one on the motherboard. I remember once a few years back, I hook up the floppy ribon in reverse. The light of the floppy was on but the system did not recognize it.
Another area needs to be checked is the hex screws next to the the expansoion slot. You need only one hex screw to hold the mother board in place. If you have two screws there, take out the one that does not need. A lot of times, the extra one is the one that cause the motherboard going crazy when you add in the cards.
