Anyone use this site before?
Found www.cyberrebate.com and they have everything free (or so they claim) after a rebate. Did anyone ever use that site, do they actually pay you back?, etc etc.
Thanks.

I've never used it but I just checked it out and the prices looked VERY high. $100 for the SouthPark game? Come on!

They seemed pretty high to me as well. Something like $55 for Quake 2? Considering that it's going for about $20 Canadian now, that is pretty out of line.

Ya, that's the whole thing.. that's how they make money.. inflated price but supposedly you get 100% rebate.

And if the rebate falls through (which so often happens) you get stuck with the inflated bill. Almost sounds like a scam...

Exactly my thoughts that's why I'm asking to see if anyone used it before and GOT the rebate honored.

If you do a check of deja.com for "cyberrebate" you'll find a few postings. Apparently one guy set up a Web page (sorry don't have the URL offhand) because he'd had problems with them. Definitely a good idea to do your homework before buying. While it's true that you'll probably hear more from people who got gypped than satisfied customers, it's good to know the possible problems.

Good idea. I went through posts and it seems most people didn't have a pleasant experience and the web site you talk of is http://members.tripod.com/~PHILKON/cyberrebate.html
