i just got share this great discovery!

I was looking around for ways to upgrade my old pentium 133 system... but I didn't want to spend too much.. after all I thought I am going to have to change the motherboard, cpu. and add some thing more memory to mine 16 meg collection. Then I came across those upgrade kit which could easily change and pentium system to K6-2 just by changing the CPU. Than I start looking for diffrent kind i could use.. well anyway at the end I found
my self buying from A&P technoogy they had great price compare to Powerleap or Evergreen altho they had better toy that come with their kit.I was more in to saving my money,I only spend as much as I thought I would for a new mother board and still have money left over for alot more SDrams than I thoght.
It was great so for you those who need upgrade.. and like me not too rich should try the upgradt kit.

What did it cost for the A&P conversion? You can also drop in a 200mmx Winchip for $26.00....

Yeah, I tried a used K62/300. It was great for a couple of days. Especially when compared to this p200mmx.

But, I will buy another one. Possibly a K63/400? I'd like to find out more about the k63's. I read in an old pc boot magazine (last july's) that came out when AMD was coming out with the k62's. They said that (at that time) amd was planning on adding l2 cache to the k63's.

    Interesting.....

Anyway, good luck in everything, and wish me luck in finding another fine AMD product (preferrably a new one this time!)

By the way, K63's do still have the 64k L1 cache, and added 256k L2 cache. I'd say along with my 1mb of m'board cache that should click along nicely.

Guess I'll get one of those buggers and o/c it...

    C 'ya...
