Anyone with DEAD Celerons or P2s?
I'm just wondering b/c I wanted to make keychains out of them. I'll pay for shipping.
Just a little adventure I thought I'd set out on.
Same here, esp. P2s in their cases, or 300As, of course I will pay for shipping on whatever you have.
you could also make em outa PC boards. I have seen those before. may be easier to do also.
You guys ought to talk to plucky duck for dead CPUs.
you want bare PCB boards ,i got emm! Rev A,B,C. of my product would not pass FCC classB radiated limits so they are dumpster material. Well, Rev. D did finally pass ( 4 times the charm)
If you want some bare (no components stuffed)pcb boards let me know.

I tried to look for plucky's e-mail but I couldn't find it. Do you have it off hand?
First, your stuff is radioactive? Second, i was looking for A. the cases of P2 processors, ther must be something to do with one! B. the actual celeron core to cut off and make a keychain of.
[Killerbug] I'm glad I wasn't the only one to read that.. radioactive, eh? Well, I could think of a few people to give THOSE kind of keychains to
What he means is that those revs of his product did not meet radio frequency emissions standards. They put out too much noise and interfere with cell phones, pace makers, and the tiny chip the government has implanted in everyone's brain. Sorta like most of our computers give off too much EM noise to ever pass FCC testing because we've hack holes in the case, added 4x the normal amount of fans, and taken out all that thin sheetmetal that gets in the way of everything.
So that's why the chip in my brain doesn't ever work right when I'm at my PC. Thanks for making us aware of details like that.
That would explain why so many people here seem crazzy, or maybee just me! Either that, or Jolt cola being the official hacker softdrink. What does your chip do anyways, I found since I got a computer I am far less orderly, so perhapse my chip is supost to make me stable, or maybee just stops you from seeing the visitors.
Sorry i put this in steals and deals section, didnt realize where i wuz
while i am here- Electromagnetic Pollution is a real concern. It is not just harmfull to equipment but people also. Note that the sources of Radio Frequency noise in the average home(computer, cellphones, etc.) is at least 4 times greater than it was 10 years ago! critical systems ,on which lives depend can be affected by this noise (ie. everthing from aircraft landing systems too the Brake/Throttle system on your car.) or can be as minor as your favorite radio station going out! interesting thing to consider...

A chip for the price of shipping, I would say that is a deal.
I'm still hoping that maybe someone has a few or just one they'd like to get rid of. My classes are getting ready to start back, and I've been wanting to add something creative to my plain chain of keys.
Just e-mail me if you have them!
yeah well i am a sysopt-type person and i overclocked the chip in my brain to a million mhz!!!hahaha im so smart now!
