Access 2002 & 2000
I use Access 2002 at home, but at school our classes use 2000. While working on a Page in 2002, I got a message that the DAP could not be opened in Design mode in Access 2000, but could be viewed. How will I be able to work on it in class? Are there any other built-in obsolescence features in 2002? Is this an effort to kill off Office 2000?
I had this sort of dilemma in school as well, (although it was Office 2000 at home and Office 98 at school).
File > Save As ... there was an option for earlier versions of Access. I no longer use Access, so I am not 100% certain what that option was named or described as. Something akin to "earlier office version".
Look for something like that - and g'luck in school.
