I'm still confused!
About Windows XP licensing that is.If I have four computers at home ,am I going to have to buy four separate licenses for them?Or will I be able to use just the one copy?
Use your common sense (no insult intended, honestly) and your moral compass. Hmm...
I would like to know the same thing too. I have 4 systems that I would like to install XP on. The more I read about XP the better it sounds. I would think that most users in the forum would go for the Pro version. I dont think i could live without all the tweaks that will be missing from the Home version. Anyone hear about the cost for each version also.
Technically... and legally.. you are SUPPOSED to buy a new copy of ANY version of windows, office, or any other commerical software product unless the licensing agreement specifically states otherwise for EACH computer you wish to install it on..
My guess is that the new XP licensing is just supposed to better enforce that, while also squeezing some extra bucks outta Joe Consumer.
