Sharing with Samba from Linux to Windows - NOT WORKING!

Hello, can anybody tell me if windows ME passwords are encrypted? Before I had samba client running on my linux machien to connect to a shared directory on my windows machien. I want to switch that around so I installed samba server onto my linux box. The only problem is it won't properly do the authentication.

I have it set to user level security and i have hunted down every help file i could and I sill can't get it going?

    Can somebody help me???

    I don't think there's a password change between 98 and Me.
I know you said you searched help files but you might want to try two more:
