Musicmatch 6.0 recorder settings?
In version 6 thereīs a new option "Maximum bandwidth". Whatīs the ultimate setting for highest audio quality - and what does this setting do?
Itīs not mentioned in the help file.
Where is this setting? I looked under all the recorder options and did not see it.
I want to go back to the old version I had but I reformatted and lost it.
Options>settings>recorder>advanced in lower left corner. Thereīs a slide bar where you can choose 4-22 KHZ, and also the option to let the encoder choose for you.
Why would you want to go back to an older version?
I am just used to the old version.
I am not really sure what changing that setting will do.
Highest audio quality would be at the 22Khz end(cd is 44.1Khz[16bit], dat is 48Khz[16bit], the new dvd audio format is up to 192Khz[24bit])
When using Musicmatch and Winamp, the display reads 160 Kbps 44Khz, so if what you say is true Canit, the display shouldnīt show more than 22 khz.
Canit, what i mean is - no matter what i set the slide bar to (4-22khz), my CDīs are still recorded at 44khz. That is why, i dont understand what maximum bandwidth means.
Qvark you stated(in your second post in this thread) a maximum bandwidth range of 4-22Khz, quote; "There's a slide bar where you can choose 4-22Khz". 22Khz would allow the greatest bandwidth in that range. If what you meant to write was 22Khz-44Khz then the 44Khz setting would give the highest sampling rates and best sound quality.
