    Getting the best performance..

    Hello all..I'm new to this site.I would like to know if anyone can tell me how to get the best performance out of my pc.I do monthly
    defrags and weekly scandisks,keep the cache clean.I have an IBM 2137 AMD k6-2 300mhz 3D
    64MB,6GBhD, Win98 2nd Edition.

    There a lots of way to squeeze every drop from your PC.

    Try www.tweak3d.com it has lots of tweaks that you can do to windows for maximum performance.

    Also if you are up to overclocking try it and see your results.

    Yeah, why don't you try to set your multiplier to 3.5 x 100 instead of 3 x 100. You may have to go up .1v or so, but should be noticeable.

    Just check in your motherboard manual for jumper settings.
