    boot partition to big?

    When I am installing RH6 on my 10gb maxtor it says that my boot partition is took big. This comes up no matter how big I make the "/" partition. I have windows stuff on the first 9 gigs I left 1 gig for installing RH6. Why is it saying that?

    he thats not the problem but lilo the bootloader cannot be installed with to much
    cylinders i had suse linux on a 4,3 gig and
    installed lilo on my 10 gig quantum fireball
    with no problems

    so why does it give me that error? it worked the other day, but I wanted to change the partition sizes so I reformatted.
