    USB in NT?

I am in the process of puting a non-linear editing system together using a DC-30 pro under NT 4.0. Unfortunately I have a Kodak 240 USB camera as part of the system.
Does Win NT support USB? How stable is Win 98 for an edit system? Should I make it dual boot?

    Hi,

NT does not support USB... Win2000 will...

I bought a Kodak DC265 a few weeks ago. Fortunately, it came with a serial cable and a USB cable.

Under NT, I use the serial cable, but it takes such a long time to download the photos that I now reboot and use 98 (and the USB cable) to download the photos... much much faster !

I don't know if the DC240 can use a serial cable to download the photos.
