    RedHat/Gnome core dump problem?

    Hello...

    I recently installed RedHat v6...
TNT2 drivers work great by the way!

The problem that I have is that gnome complains about being "ROOT" when running the file mannager. Shortly after that I end up with a core dump file in what ever directory that I am in...

Can somebody explain this to me?
    Please respond by email...

    Cheers!

Are you using your own (non-root) user account when this happens? Or have you set that account with "Super-User Equivalance"?

Not sure about the vid card problems, but if you are logged on as root or are a super-user, the file manager will give you that warning.
