    NT Doesn't shut down

Nt doesn't shut down like Windowes 98 does, It just freezes and I have to turn off the power. I know you can make it turn off like 98 but how? Please help me.

Do you mean that it shuts down properly, and gives you the "It is safe to shut off your computer" message with the restart button, or it fails to respond to your shut-down command?

Nevermind now I got it to work somehow, I meant it didn't give me the menu that says it is ok to shut it down. I need more memory because it was taking way to long.

NT does take a long time to shutdown. It stops all services safely first. Then it backs up data in memory to the drive then it checks file security settings and etc...etc...

Good news... You can have it auto shut off the PC by editing the registry. If you are interested, E-mail me and I will send the reg key you need.
