    CoCreate Instance Failed - Class not registered

    I right click background, select properties
    and this error window pops up, passively.
    I click on the OK button and then I am
    at the normal Display Properties window.

    I changed Desktop Theme, no difference.
    Device Manager removals have no effect.
    I do have a Voodoo3 2000, and no other
    video board installed.
    I wish I could pinpoint what unregistered
    class is causing this.

    Microsoft was no help.

    Thanks and thanks again if you can make a suggestion. Sincerely, EL

    I can't help but I can sympathise, because
    I've got the same problem. I have Voodoo3
    3000 so it may be a bug in 3dfx display
    properties mods.
