Help! I have Windows 98 first version. When I go into add and remove programs to windows set up to desktop themes. Not all of my Screen Savers are turned on (ie Baseball,Space)when I put in CD windows tells me it cannot locate files.Where are the screen savers on CD??
Add remove programs\ Windows Setup tab/ 'Accessories' for Screensavers - or, 'Desktop themes'.

It should ask you for alternate locations for the files. Tell it to look in the Win98 folder on the CD. This should be where all of the cabs are for the windows install. You might also want to copy that folder to your HD for future use.
Just a note to add to what everyone else had said if you are using a restore disk your cab files will be an image file. If this is the case direct the computer to C:\Windows\options\cabs.
This is where the restore disk puts the files.
