    BeOS 4.5

I am now posting this message using BeOS 4.5, while listening to an audio CD: I just started instalation 25 minutes ago. Looks like the java script for web pages is the only thing not working - will update as soon as possible.

Well, part of it seems to be working - some weird glitches editing posts...

The 128bit encription seems to work, I was able to connect to BofA Online Banking - something I was not able to do with the previous version.

When I go back to check the post I cannot see the editing I did - I'm sure it is there but appearently only able to view the cached page. I guess I will have to check this post again from Gateblows or Linux.

yep, cleared the cache and I was able to view the changes I made.

Well CMonster, seems BeOS works fine for you, which is a wonderful thang. After perusing their site, I think that pretty much everything I have will be compatible, I'm just worried about using BeOS with DirecPC satellite internet service. DirecPC uses a PCI network card as an interface, and it is extremely temperamental about what it cooperates with! I'm gonna do some checking around and if I find out it'll all work together, I'm definitely gonna give Winblows the boot...
Got any pearls of wisdom to pass along before I take the plunge? :-)

    Pearl:

Although I would like to give MS Windows the "boot," I have found it continues to be useful inspite of BeOS and Linux.
