Windows Drivers
Does anyone remember how to get to a place in win98 where you can view drivers. As I recall, in this window, you could view files that were in win. It had the dates/versions of these files, and you could choose from the present ones, or the last versions you had. You could choose to reload the "old" ones.
You could see which one was the more up-to-date, and decide whether to run that one, or not.
Been a while since I've been there (obviously), but since win won't close out completely, I think I need to go back there.
Thanx for any input,
Mike P.

Do you mean the version conflict manager?
Accessories/System Tools/System Info/Tools/Version Conflict

yes Susan, that's exactly what I was looking for. It'd been so long since I had been there that I didn't even rememebr what it was called.
Thanks again, hopefully someday I can return the favor.

If you figure it out let me know. My win98 does the same thing. It won't fully shut down or restart. Just hangs. My usb mouse locks up sometimes too, no biggy just unplug and plug and it works, but aggrevating sometimes.

yeah, cment. It will work okay by manually hitting the button, but it's just the idea that it's just not right...
Wish me luck, I'm going to try my k62 again....
Good Luck In All...
