i get these messages.....what can i do to get rid of them??

dfs.vxd
msnp32.dll
systen ini refers to the etc....you know the rest

A while ago, my son deleted network neighborhood from our desktop. After that, we'd get similar messages.
I finally reloaded win right over the existing copy. After that, the messages went away...
Stopped locking up, too.

Hi,
in fact it's more easy then you think.
At Start > Run type REGEDIT in the EDIT menu select FIND type the name of one of the files but without the extension click on find now. when found delete the entry.
Use F3 Function key to restart the finder and do this unless the filename isn't found.you have to do this for all three of them.Will take max 10 minutes for all of them.Then restart to check.
