    Win 98 Fails warm reboot

Whenever I need to do a warm reboot I get the message himem.sys is missing. I seem to remember this from windows 95 but can't find what parameter I need to fix this.

    400mhz 192MB SDRAM system.

    Any help would be appreciated

    Hi Razinni!

I searched through sysedit, but couldn't find it it autoexec, sysi.ini, etc. Thought it might be there.

Running find file, I found it in the following folders:

    C:\WINDOWS, and
    C:\WINDOWS\COMMAND\EBD

    a 33kb file.

I get that too with 95. I also found the file, both on the boot disk and C:\windows.
Where does it need to be? where else does it(himem.sys) need to be in addition to c\windows?
I cant boot with the boot disk cause of this- I thought it was cause my boot disk got corrrupted or something...while we're on this subject why do some of my boot disks have 13 files and others have 15 files?
Is it cause one was made during setup and the other made with add/remove prog sheet?
Sorry for butting in but I've been meaning to post this for a while- thanks razinni for bringing it up.
