    ::waiting for win2000::

    can any one say if windows 2000 os won't have to be reinstalled againg and again like windows 98, is it going to be different better?

    Oh, people arent gonna like it for 2 reasons:

    1. The driver support base sucks, there isn't enough new drivers made for it yet.

    2. It uses passwords for everything and startup/shutdown speed is way long. It's worse than NT4 for that!

    Hmmm, i keep hearig people say they have to keep reinstalling 95/98??? Hmmmm, I must be doing something right I agree with BBA's post by the way

    win200 is going to use more memory and more HDD space also And from my own experience with it, there are still a lot of programs for the home market that won't run on it
