    Linux and USR Modems

    Okay, I tried this in the past but failed. I have a USR/3com 56k internal modem. It is [bold]NOT [/bold] the USR/3com Winmodem. I have tried teh isapnp dump and all that stuff to get it goign but i can never get it to work. it always conflicts. can someone please tell me step by step how to do this? It is an ISA modem. I thought it was a sportster, but it seems USA doesnt call them sportsters anymore since they teamed up with 3com...I assume.
