After installing the MS sp & y2k updates for 95, 98, & Office 97, I have more problems than before the updates. The entire system seems to slow down. I also have increased number of lockups and application errors.

Has anyone else had this problem, and is it fixable without compromising y2k compliance?

Or is this just another one of MS's to screw up my computer system while telling me that they've improved their software?
