    Cyrix 5x86 branch prediction and Win 98

    If anyone remembers, you can enable branch prediction on the cyrix 5x86 chip to get a modest performance boost by using pete moss's utility located in the cool software section. This worked fine when operating in DOS mode, but unfortunately made the chip unstable in Win 95. Has this been corrected in Win 98?
