Problems partition hard disk for Linux!!

When I run partition magic 4.0 and creat a partition for Linux. It the restarts the computer and goes into Dos. There it tries to recreat the partition and at about 2% it gives an error "Batch file" or something like that. What should I do??

Check your settings make sure PQ understands you are trying to partition either a 16 or 32 bit drive. I came across this same error until I told PQ I wanted and had 32 bit drive partitions
