Installing SB AWE64 Value & Caldera OpenLinux 2.2
I just installed Linux for the second time, this time with Cladera's OpenLinux 2.2. This install was better than a Win install in many respects
I like the fact that you set up the monitor and graphics drivers resolution during install, instead of after.
I'm relatively new to this, and I'm not getting any sound out of my SB AWE64. Can anyone point me to a good reference or walk me through it?
Thanks so much in advance!

Go to kernel administration -all you should have to do is load the SB module and I think there is one for awe64 and mpu401, then reboot - if you can gain access to the the audio mixer then you have succeeded.
If your awe64 is ISA, rather than fooling around with compiling ISA Plug & Play into the kernel you can usually specify something like "P&P OS=NO" in your BIOS.
