Linux on a PC CHIPS M599 Motherboard?

I am considering buying a PC CHIPS M599 motherboard - it has integrater sound and graphics. Does anyone know of any problems running Linux on this board? I thinh the integrated graphics uses a SIS chip.

I have a pcchip M571 and a built-in vga SIS 5597. It will not let me us X-window or any GUI., but it works in command line mode. I installed a Redhat6.
While my other mobo which is a VX FIC PT-2006
works fine with a redhat6 using a PCI vga Cirrus Logic 5446 chip

I just installed Linux on an Emachine with everything but the modem on-board. Modem doen't work but everything else does. I first used generic vga and generic monitor just to get into x-windows and then reconfigured it there to get the svga working.
