Ok, her is a troubleshooting question for everyone. My home network setup has a Linux DHCP server running with RH6.0. I recently reinstalled RH6 on a second computer. The second computer has a Compaq Nettelligent PCI adapter that gets recognized by RH. When the system boots, it queries the DHCP server and receives an IP address. The boot process finishes everything appears to be fine. ifconfig gives the IP address and other info. But when I try to ping the DHCP server, it does not see it, nor can the DHCP server see this machine.

I am fairly new to Linux and need to know where to start troubleshooting. Any help would be appreciated.
