    Does Redhat Linux 5.2/6.0 come w/ Fortran Compiler

    Hi,
    I'm new to Linux and would like to know if Redhat linux or any other Linux Distribution comes with Free Fortran Compiler. Thanks in advance.

    Well, I don't know if they come with (I stick to Perl and C++) but there is a whole mess of them for free here:

    I remeber Fortran from college (way back in 1988). It was similar enough to C that I picked it up pretty fast.. but hey, that was 11 years ago...I did everything faster back then..
