Survey: How many OSes are you running on your box?

    I got 3:
    Win 98
    Win NT
    RH 6.0

I'd have more, but I don't have the disk space.

I gave up multibooting quite a while back and just turned to adding machines. I've got Win98, Win95, NT 4.0, and Netware 4.11 running all on different machines now. Plans in the works include a Linux box that will probably become my proxy/router.

    Most I have run on a single computer is 3;

    Win9x

    Caldera OL2.2

    BeOS 4.0

Now I am running 3 boxes with Win9x and Linux, and one box with Win9x and BeOS 4.0,

    and one with just Win9x

Hey SoopaStar, you like that BeOS4.0? I installed the latest NetPositive browser; it's better to have Java support. I hope there are more applications and support in the future for BeOS, it certainly looks as though Linux is going mainstream and I would hate to see BeOS fall by the wayside.

Since you have had a chance to sample both RH6.0 and Caldera which do you like better and why?

    First box has 4
    DOS v6.22
    Netware v3.2
    Windows 98
    Windows NT 4 Workstation

    Second Box is Linux
Third Box is Windows NT 4 Server
    Fourth Box is UNIX

I also got tired of trying to multiboot, Windows kept @$#%&$&% everything I was doing. Besides I usually need several different OS's at once and therefore need several boxes.

But it is always interesting to see how many OS's people think that they can run on one machine.

I run Win 98 on one hard drive, the master and Red Hat 5.2 on the slave. Dual boot works OK but Windows sometimes thinks the boot sector is corrupt and wants to fix th problem. I just ignore Windows' advice since I know what is causing the "problem".

I only use one OS per computer. Dual booting is blah. I had enough of that stuff in the days of DOS games in a Windows world. The OS I use on two boxes is Win95B, one box has Debian Linux with the 2.2.2 kernel and the other box has NeXTStep 3.2.

My setup on my personal system is:
    -Win98 (main OS)
-O/S-2 Warp ver 3.0 with Win3.11 compatiblity installed (not many of us OS/2 users left)
    -Linux Slackware 3.3 revision E

I plan to get BeOS 4.5 in the near future. My next upgrade will be to Win2000 whenever I get around to actually finishing my dual celeron system. Waiting to get Abit BP6 m/b and two 433 celerys.
