video card
i just recently installed red hat 5.2 on my machine buit i can't get the right setup for my video card. can anyone help me resolve this. i have deleted it and installed it several time and used different video cards but nothing works. i can get a driver for the card that works under linux but what do i do from there? please help

It might also be worth your while to get a copy of RHL 6.0, which supports a wider variety of vid cards, and has the X setup built into it's install procedure. I have an address to an FTP with the ISO if you want it.

There is no need to reinstall each time:
Try this, log in as root, at the command prompt type in the following:
cd /usr/X11R6/bin press enter
now type xf86config press enter
follow on screen instructions carefully
