Ultima 4 modification?

Hey, I've been playing Ultima 4 quite a bit (still a killer game, even in the age of FPSs) and thought I'd try to make a few changes...>8^)

I've figured out the file formats for the world, towns, and dialog, but I'm wondering if anyone else has possibly gotten any further at modifying the game. I can't seem to move the towns around or change the merchent's dialog...it looks like those (and other aspects of the game) are compiled in with the executable. Has anyone attempted to change these things? I just thought it'd be fun to tweak the Quest of the Avatar a little bit!

can't help you there, but it is good to see someone still plays the old classics...I am currently going through Serpent's Isle for the first time. I loved The Black Gate...my favorite game. I have all of them...maybe I'll try the early ones out.
