    Multiplayer

I have a 10/100 D-Link Home Network, a cel 600@900, Duron 750@950,PIII 550e@750 and a 1200 Tbird. Am I ready to game or what?!?! All have GF cards from GF ddr to GF 3. For home gaming do I need to download cd cracks or make copies or whatever to net game? I like co-op better than d-m. Any games to suggest?

What would you need the cd craks for??People all ways say that you need 3 cd's for 3 machines but that's just not true!!!I have four machines and go on the same severs online and play with the same cd keys with no problem...SO no you don't need any cracks and yes yoyu are very ready to be gaming your life away...GeForce Cards rock I have a few of them my self..No ge3 yet though..GTS 2 CounterStrike is just about the coolest game I have ever played and Quake3 is not shabby ...But Quake3 is very easy compared to CS.I have played Quake 3 in six mounths untill today and then after the second map I won way to easy for me...Good luck playing
Speakeasy.net has some good east coast cs severs ...SIC...

CS is very good if you have the internet connection for the 4 machines because latency can haunt the game a little.
Go for Q3 and also for unreal tournament and try some Capture the Flag Maps, or Cooperative Deatchmatch, and they are some mutators to make the game more funnier.

I recently searched my collection of games dating back to 1996 and only found 2 co-op games.

    1) Quake - I found a patch years ago that allowed us to play Quake co-op over the Lan. No idea where it is now. Try www.fileplanet.com or www.planetquake.com

    2) System shock 2 - After patching this a few days ago, we're playing this one again over the Lan also

Sadly, when FPS are made, I don't think developers know that gamers may want to take a break from fragging their friend and actually play the single player game as co-op.

Unreal Tournament is one of the best Lan/internet multiplayer games around. UT2 is said to have a single player game like original Unreal, if so I'm praying that a co-op option is included!

No-CD cracks saves you time in burning mass quantities of Cd's and also money if you have no burner.

    Try this one..
