Honor our Veterans
As we all know, today is Memorial Day. Please take some time to honor those who have given so much so that we could be able to have the freedoms we have today. If you can't do anything in person, please take a moment out of your life to reflect on the sacrifices
our brave men and women have given. And always remember , the Flag is NOT an idol, it represents the blood and tears shed for our wonderful country. And if you don't think it's wonderful, you know where the door is!!!

hehe, well that ended kinda harsh...but otherwise I completely agree with you Pickel.
"Thank You" to all of the brave men and women who risked their lives, sacraficed their friends, and lost thier lives fighting for freedom for us. I take what you have done in times of war very personally, and I can not thank you enough. I will never truly understand your suffering. I will never truly understand your bravery. THANK YOU I owe my freedom to you. God Bless
And thanks from those of us in England who feel a close friendship with the USA.
THANKS AND GOD BLESS YOU
THANK YOU to all the veterans/enlisted men and woman in this forum, and around the world. I will never be able to repay you all, especially those who have fought and died in combat. God be with you all! Remember All gave some, but some gave all!
Im so proud to be an american, where atleast I know im free, and ill never forget the men who died, who gave that right to me, and I gladly stand up next to you, and defend her still today, cuase there aint no doubt I love this land! God bless the USA!
pickel:>>right on man....
I went out to the veterans memorial cemetery in Ft.lincoln ND today... thats where my dad's father is buried... the only grandfather i really knew... the other died about 8+-years before i was born.... The grandfather i knew died back in sept1 1993.
i was 10years old.... man... tell ya what... it really made me flip out when he died.... for about a year or so... i couldnt stand not being by myself for long peroids of time...
going out there today made me realize once again that i just wish i couldve spent more time with him than i did...
its this day that makes me realize how short life really is and to show how much someone means in your life...being a veteran of war(s) or not....
I believe that our men & women who have fought and or died and have spilled their blood for freedom for their people; should be given a moment of thought, and praise saying " THANK YOU for all that you have done for me and this land we call home ".

Just wanted to say thank you to all of you for your appreciation. I'm not a wartime veteran, but have served with those that did face combat, and the fact of the matter is that its a harsh reality of our lives. Wars happen. In fact, its a thankless job, yet at times like this, I'm proud to be able to say that I have served and your gratitude is greatly appreciated!!!
