    Question display drivers

    I have a Asus MB model CUW(E)-FX 4 MB on board video, w/Celeron 500 MHz, 128 Ram.
When I try and run Roller Coaster Tycoon,
I get this error. "Exception Raised - Access Violation Error Location : Windows Display Driver. I was able to run the game when I first loaded it. Any ideas what happened.
    I'm running DirectX 6.

Why don't you try to reinstall driver so the game tryes to initialize driver from beginning? Try also driver update or new DirectX version (I don' know which version this game requires) and then reinstall game.

    Hello all,

after quite abit of testing, I finally managed to get RCT to work. If this doesn't work, make sure that you've set

you the compatibilty of RCT-1 to Win 98/Me

    1. Navigate to your RCT scenario's folder E.g (D:\Program Files\Hasbro Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon\Scenarios)
    Or C:\Program Files\Infogrames Interactive\RollerCoaster Tycoon Deluxe\Scenarios
    2. Right click any scenario and hit Open With...

    3. Open with rct.exe

For some strange reason, this completely bypasses the Exception Error. Hope this help you guys after such a long

    time.

It works now excellent on my WinXP PRO 32bit version !
