What kind of speakers should I get??
I have a SBLIVE! value and I am wondering what kind of speakers I should get for my computer I am looking to spend only 100- 150 dollars. I love to play unreal, starcraft and q3 (if that helps). Any suggestions?

The SBLIVE is digital so I would recommend the the FPS2000 (4spkrs+sub) from Creative Labs which are also digital.

Oh yea... try the user reviews. You should be able to get a feel for what others think of their speakers.

I've got the SB Live! sound card and Cambridge "PCWorks™ FourPointSurround FPS1000" - just a woofer that you turn on and forget, and 4 little speakers. I got em for $99 quite a while ago. I've had my upstairs neighbers (appt w/concrete ceilings) come down and tell me to keep it down while playing Q2. Heh, poor guys. For less than $100 they're just unreal.

U got nice sound card so you want to feed it with something good right?,
I would highly recomend Altec Lansing which in my oppinion are the leader of the crop in term's of high quality sound for value!
I have the 45.1 and they sound great (two satelites and subwoffer and cost bout $180 Australian
Thes a little exp, dont cheap skate your sound system as speakers are the one darn thing u font have to upgrade!

Any speakers with the 'NXT' label use technology developed by the company I work for, they are awesome, and only one inch thick, ideal for a cramped desktop.

Cambridge 4-point surround.. you can pick them up at pricewatch for like $75... Those are unbelievable!!! I got SB Live and I'm enjoying every second of that surround sound in Half-Life.. Man! when these special forces attack you.. the EAX sound makes it sound so real.. you hear it from behind, front... too cool to describe..

Cambridge sucks, if you do not get a USB speeker system (meaning you can sell your sound card toward the purchase of a realy nice set-up), then shop around, get 2 realy big subwoofers, 4 very high quality powered speekers, and ask the person at radioshak how to rig your stuff together.
