You could get the True52X CD-Rom drive. Is one of the best. Is quite expensive, don't remember the brand. But still is one of the best things you could get if you really want a speed demon CD reader.

That one is made by Kenwood...The best CD rom in my opionion if all CDroms were the same price...that babys really expensive! I think more important than read speed is slot loading capabilitys...tray and caddy loaders are plain annoying! A great cheap one is the Pioneer 32x/6x Slot loading DVDrom..my friend has it cuz of my recommend and he loves it! It can be had for less than 100 bucks! Check out www.pricewatch.com for prices!
