TFC Trouble

I'm running TFC with HL patch 1.0.1.3 and every time I go into water the game dies and I'm back at the desktop. And sometimes I load the game up and I have two small versions of the in game view, rather than one big one. I think it might be to do with my V770U but cant be sure, any one? I've turned the boost down to 1. I have a P3 450 on an Abit BX6/2. Please help.....

I know they fixed the sound output in water for EAX at least. Make sure u dont have the wrong sound API (I think thats what thier called) checked.

I upgraded to win98 se last night and tried out TFC and it was fine, I'll try it at my next LAN party to be sure though. I'm not using EAX so that can't be it, I think my viper may be overheating, but I cant be sure, yet.
