    Anyone played Tiberium Sun yet?

If you have, what do you think?

I have played the game, nothing special.
It is almost the exact duplicate as Dune 2000 and a little of Starcraft. Dune 2000 you have to collect spice in Tiberian Ssun you have to collect Tiberium. It is the same thing just different skin, and maps (the westwood game programers probably didn't have to do **** to make it>

Not good at all. I'm taking it back. Graphics aren't good at all. Just alittle better than Red Alert.

About the only new feature I saw was having a choice in some missions. For example instead of "Securing the crash site" you can "Attack the enemy base near the crash site". I have not played very far into it, but I doubt the choice affects things any differently down the road. Choice is good though.

I have a problem. I installed Tiberian Sun as discribed in the Reference Manual. My Computer freezes evertime I try to start the game. WTF is going on here? I downloaded Directx 6.1 and it still does the same thing.

P.S.: I don't know if this is the right forum to post in but please reply anyways.

I'm gonna open up a six pack of whup *** on the next person to insult TS. It is far and above the finest RTS I have played, inc. CnC, CnC:RA, Warcraft, Dune 2000, Starcraft, TA, etc. To the true RTS guru TS is the holy grail.

I must say it is one of, if not the best RTS that I've every played. I have all the C&C series and it is definately the best of them all. Especially for multiplayer, though the single player AI is well designed as well.

It is a matter of personal preference. I hate driving my stupid harvester out to load up spice, er, tiberium, all the time. That model just annoys me. I feel like Westwood might as well just write a Combine simulator so I can run around a field and combine wheat or something. TA and TA:Kingdoms do not make me drive a combine. Game over. On a side note, even though you have 'harvester' ships, Homeworld looks like it will be very cool.

Its nothing special if you have owned the previous C&C's, but if you have never played the first two buy it.
However, it is hard, a lot like Red Alert, so you have to persevere.
Other choices include TA:Kingdoms and Star Trek:Birth Of The Federation, which I have read mixed reviews about.
Oh, and BigMac:, Know Your Role And Shut Your Mouth you Candyass piece of Monkey ****.If you wanna qoute the Great one and insult his millions...and millions... of fans then I shall have to implement the KY Jelly plan on your narrow ***.
    Only joking mate.

It seems to me that for as long as they took the time to make TS and with the certain replies i'm reading here, it's not that great of a game. It's good, i'm not saying the contrary, but better than starcraft? I seriously don't think so. Then again, i always for the game developers who create something new and original, and not for the metoo-but-just-a-little-bit-different game developers.
