!!!!!!Can't play any games on my ISDN line which is provided by Cisco Systems!!!!!!

Cisco Systems decided to give me a gift for working 7 long and "happy" years for them in a cubicale: A Toshiba Tecra 8000, an ISDN line, and a Cisco 770 Router which they all still own but I just have it in my house for telecommunicating.

My Problem: I can surf web pages, download files, and telecommunicate from my house to the Cisco servers but I just can't play any game over the internet. I have been trying to play Quake II in multiplayer mode for a long time now but to do that the game has to connect to a server. It finds the server on the network by its IP adress. So quake II says:
Connecting <IP adress>...
Connecting <IP adress>...
Connecting <IP adress>...
over and over again and the lights on my Cisco router do light up every time it trys to connect but I just don't get a response from any game servers (any of them).

What is wrong here? Please help me, thank you =)
