    ELSA banshee and quake3

I have a ELSA Victory II which is powered by a voodoo banshee chip with 16mb sgram.

unfortunely ELSA doesn't provide drivers for Quake3, and they suggest me to d/l the reference banshee driver from 3dfx, after I install the 3dfx driver, my screen resolution became 600*400 and it can only go to high color(16 bit), if I change it to 800*600 I only get 16color, anyone know the answer to that?

    thanks

Have you tried their web page. I was just there and they have the 3DFX drivers. Quake should work with no problems. Download the manual too unless you have the most current one.
