    "hook" in Quake2 multiplayer

I've noticed that some people are using a hook (at first it looked like a tongue) to make them do spider man type tricks like swinging on the walls. One of my friends said that to get it, you have to bind it to a key. Anyone have an idea how?

While in a CTF game (grapples only available in CTF...and some RA2 maps rarely tho) go to your console (the ~ key) and type in "bind q grapple" w/o the quotes, and replacing the 'q' with whatever key you want to bind it to. When u do this, u can press whatever key you bound it to and it will act like a weapon 0-9 button..and will bring up the grapple.

You can also get the hook in deatmatch.
(It looks like a red beam)

Bind a button to +hook whenever you hit it the hook will activate meaning you don't have to change weapons to use it.
