QUake3 test and Voodoo 1 argggg!

i got a diamond monster 3d (voodoo1)
i heard there wasn;t a driver for it with quake 3 test.
but i went to 3dfx and found one just for voodoo 1 but when i start it up it crashes and i get a gray screen.
have any suggestions? really deperate to play qauke 3.

You're going to have to reread Brian Hook's comments on that situation. The installer isn't functioning correctly (it is a beta after all) so you'll need to manually expand some files and place others in your Q3 directory. Unfortunately, I don't have the info on hand.

If it's any consolation, it failed on me too. Both with Voodoo1 and Voodoo2 SLI in two different Intel based computers.
