    beeps?

When playing Quake2 on a network connection, I'll be happily fragging and then I'll start hearing a short beeps from my computer at random, anyone know what causes this?

Some BIOS have an audio alarm that sounds when you are overheating. You might be setting that alarm off for only a second or two. Check out your BIOS for Temp related settings, you might find something referring to an alarm.

heh Thanks for the help Mad Max but it turns out I was getting those beeps by holding the left up and right arrow keys.Guess you get those on my system if you hold three or more keys at once. Anyone know a way that I can get those beeps off , maybe in the bios?

No idea about disabling it in bios but if it annoy's you.
Lift the case off and pull the speaker wires off the motherboard.
